For those of you who may not know, I studied at The University of Redlands, graduating with a degree in Photography in 2008. My four years in Redlands were pretty hard to beat. Also hard to beat...the exceptional Mexican food options this small town has to offer. Since we only live an hour away, my girlfriends and I decided to take a trip down memory lane and lunch at El Burrito.
El Burrito was and continues to be my personal favorite spot in Redlands, CA. Famous for their hand rolled flour tortillas (made daily,) fresh quality ingredients, and amazing price points, I was more than excited to drive an hour to get my perfect "cheat meal."
My trainer is a firm believer in allowing yourself one indulgence a week, in the form of a meal. It's not a "cheat day," but it is a "cheat meal" where you can order something a little naughty and delicious; a meal you would not normally include in your daily routine. Some weeks I don't crave a cheat, and others I have a tough time narrowing down all of my options.
This March I have many health and fitness goals set-up, so I knew a meal like this would not be happening again any time soon. I made sure to order all of my favorites for us to share.
The Garbage Burrito is El Burrito's signature item. I, however, have always been a Bean & Cheese Burrito kind of girl.
On The Menu:
Bean & Cheese Burrito.
2 Beef Tacos.
Chips & Cheese.
Side of Rice and Beans.
