Thanksgiving snuck up on me this year! Work is in full swing, fitness goals are being made and met, and my aunt is making her annual month-long visit from New Zealand. But what makes this Thanksgiving more special than others is that I get to share it with two of my girlfriends as well as a few close family friends from the Bay Area, who are joining in on our Thanksgiving festivities.
What I love so much about Thanksgiving is that we keep it super low key. Zero stress and lots of flavor! Because I am an only child, our holidays are always super intimate and easy going. Basically another day in the life, with a more elaborate meal.
On an everyday basis (with help from my kick-ass trainer) I stick to a very balanced and healthy diet. I hate even calling it a diet, because it's not. It is truly a lifestyle. I am a firm believer of not depriving yourself of the things you love.
Thanksgiving dinner was fully enjoyed by all we were lucky enough to have around our table this year, but now that my slice of Urth Caffe pumpkin pie is finished, it's back to basics..
